Emerson is in Tonga for ten days on a Dental Humanitarian Mission with some of his friends from school. This is his second dental humanitarian trip, the first was to the Galapagos Islands. I would really like to know why all of these trips are to tropical places and do not include the spouse. I mean, before Emer left he kept saying, 'I'm not going to have that much fun, we will be doing extractions all day.' Really? You think I am going to fall for that? Then I kept telling him, 'You are not going to have fun with some of your greatest friends doing something you totally love, oh, by the way, all the while living it up in Tonga?' Nice try babe. I hope you have a great time and there better be some pretty sweet loot brought back for your dear wife.

Julia's 6th Birthday

Julia was ecstatic to turn six. Because, I mean, six is sooo much bigger than five. Since Kung Fu Panda was coming out on her birthday how could we resist? So, she invited some of her greatest friends to join her...Emilia too!
I love how chill girls are. Including myself there were seven girls. They were all so polite and well behaved, it was a walk in the park. It could have something to do with the fact that I let them pick out whatever they wanted from the HUGE bag of jewelry my admirer previously gave me. They had to wear some of their treasures to the movie and they HAD to take a picture next to the cardboard cut-out of the High School Musical cast.......hilarious.
P.S. The video I posted is for Emerson. He had no idea I was filming, he thought I was taking pictures.....what a nerd.

Happy Jubilee Birthday Julia!

my baby girl turns six today, what a bittersweet event for mommy. if you can't tell from the picture above, julia's entrance into this world was pretty intense. little do you know that i cropped the picture so you can not see that my entire mop of hair was completely drenched in sweat. i also look like i had died and come back to life(which i pretty much did). however long and hard her entrance was, this only made our little bond stronger. she has been my little sidekick for six years now and i have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of her. happy birthday to my biggest girl. i love you.
